About the Artist

Elisabeth Arbuckle is an experienced artist and has developed a variety of art skills throughout her career. She was born in Wales, U.K. in 1950 and later attended the Newport College of Art in 1966. From 1972 to 1974, Elisabeth studied art in England, and was first exhibited as part of a group show in Stoke on Trent. Here, Elisabeth also worked extensively with set and poster design in theatre productions for the Birmingham Youth Theatre.

Elisabeth then lived in the Bahamas from 1976 to 1986 and was the head of the art department at T.G. Glover Middle School in Nassau. She also worked extensively with set and poster design in theatre productions for numerous theatres in Nassau. As of 1995, Elisabeth has been working as the Head of Junior School Art at Ashbury College in Ottawa. Since 1995, Elisabeth has had many art showings and in 2006, joined the Stafford Studios Art Group in Nepean.
